1. Acceptance & who runs this

OneDayMVP is operated at onedaymvp.work. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. The Platform

OneDayMVP is a marketplace that connects clients (people who need MVPs built) with builders (developers and designers who ship fast). We facilitate the connection — matching, messaging, listing visibility — but are not a party to any agreement between a client and a builder.

3. Zero-escrow — read this before you post or bid

OneDayMVP never holds, processes, or has access to any payment between a client and a builder. When a client accepts a proposal, the client pays the builder directly, by whatever method the two of you agree — outside this platform entirely. We do not verify that payment happened, hold funds in escrow, or have any way to reverse, recover, or dispute a payment once it's sent.

This means: if a client doesn't pay after work is delivered, or a builder doesn't deliver after being paid, OneDayMVP cannot recover the money or compel either party to act. Agree on scope, milestones, and payment terms in writing before work starts, and use payment methods that give you whatever protection you need — we don't provide any.

Paid features on OneDayMVP itself — connects, boosts, subscriptions, the intent badge — are billed by us, through Dodo Payments, and are separate from any payment you make to another user.

4. Accounts

You sign in with a real Google account. We don't independently verify identity beyond what Google provides.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Builders using the platform are independent contractors, not employees or agents of OneDayMVP or of any client they work with.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. You can delete your own account at any time from Settings.

5. Bounties, bids & content you post

Posting a standard bounty is free. Optional paid visibility (boosts, the intent badge) is billed separately, in USD, exclusive of applicable tax.
Builders keep 100% of whatever amount the client pays them directly for the work itself.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you post — a bounty description, a bid, a portfolio item, a profile bio — and you retain ownership of it, while granting us a license to display it on the platform.
Disputes about work quality, scope, or payment between a client and a builder are between those two parties — see Section 3.

6. Paid platform features (connects, boosts, subscriptions)

Separate from Section 3, these are purchases made from OneDayMVP, processed by Dodo Payments (our payment processor and merchant of record):

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout until cancelled.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
One-time purchases (boosts, the intent badge, connects packages) are non-refundable once the feature has been applied to a listing or delivered, except where required by law.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at the email in Section 12 before disputing the charge with your bank — we'll look into it.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use OneDayMVP to:

Post fraudulent bounties, bids, reviews, or profile information
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Attempt to bypass the platform's messaging or authentication safeguards
Scrape, resell, or misuse other users' data
Violate any applicable law

8. Disclaimer of warranties

OneDayMVP is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the quality, legality, or accuracy of work delivered by builders, bounty descriptions written by clients, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneDayMVP and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of money, data, or opportunity arising from a transaction between a client and a builder (see Section 3), or from your use of the platform generally. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. (This clause states our intended default — confirm it against your actual business registration before relying on it.)

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform changes. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use OneDayMVP after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
